The project consisted of 2nd floor renovations at Allegheny County's Scott Kane Regional Center. The work included the demolition of a centrally located nurses station surrounded by 4 adjoining corridors. After renovations, 52 dual-occupancy patient care rooms are now 26 single-bed Transitional Care Units with full ADA bathrooms. Renovations consisted of new floors, VCT, new suspended ceilings, new fire alarm & nurse call systems, new lighting, new HVAC, new plumbing fixtures, new casework and new window PTAC units throughout the entire 2nd Floor West Wing.
