This project consisted of the complete renovation and expansion of a Catholic Church to include new worship facilities and classroom and office space. The new building construction included masonry block bearing walls on spread footers in the basement and a wood framed upper level. New siding, roofing and skylights were added to the entire facility. The interior work for both the new and renovated areas included new electrical, HVAC, plumbing, stained glass window removal and replacement, and the construction of a cascading, limestone-dual level, baptismal fountain. Finishes included drywall, acoustical, ceramic tile, VCT tile, carpeting, lighting and millwork. Exterior work included site grading, subsurface drainage, concrete and asphalt paving.
This project was started under winter conditions and was completed below a predetermined, not-to-exceed budget.
