Management Engineering Corporation provided construction management and inspection services to the Housing Authority of the County of Allegheny for the development and new construction of the Village of Groveton. The construction work included the demolition and removal of the existing residential units along with the abatement of asbestos. The site was regraded, new utility lines were run and new sanitary and storm water piping was installed. Twenty-four (24) new structures were erected, which contained 70 apartments. Twelve (12) of the units have basements. The units are of wood frame construction with vinyl siding located on beautifically landscaped lots.
