The Runway 14-32 project included installation of Centerline Lights, Touchdown Lights and Additional Runway Guard Lights on Runway 14-32 along with removal and replacement of the existing pavement, as necessary, for the lighting systems installation. The project also included installation of centerline lights on Taxiway N and conduit bank crossings of Taxiway F, Q, R and S. General construction work also included boring for TDZ conduit, grooving of new pavement and replacement of pavement markings.

The Rehabilitation of Taxiway F included replacement of the 50' wide portland cement concrete keel section for a length of 6,500 feet. The keel section replacement was located between Taxiway V and Taxiway P. A section of Taxiway F adjacent to the Runway 10R threshold was also replaced to correct a standing water condition. The balance of Taxiway F received isolated slab replacement, joint and crack cleaning and sealing, spall repairs and partial full depth repairs. Severely deteriorated shoulder areas were replaced and expansion joints were cut into existing shoulders that remain.

The Rehabilitation of Taxiway P consisted of full width replacement of the section of Taxiway P between Taxiway F and Runway 28L. The balance of the taxiway received isolated slab replacement, joint and crack cleaning, sealing and replacement of deteriorated shoulders.

To minimize the airfield impact and allow for more efficient airfield coordination these projects, they were combined into a single bid package with prime general and electrical contracts.
