Management Engineering Corporation (MEC) provided construction management services for the South Hills Village Parking Garage and Traffic Mitigation projects for the Port Authority of Allegheny County. The garage project consisted of a seven level, 2200 vehicle, precast concrete structure including foundations, lighting, fire protection, storm drainage and revenue control systems. The inbound and outbound light rail station platforms at the South Hills Village Station were renovated as well. Associated with this project was the widening and reconstruction of adjacent roadways, a new signalized intersection and the upgrading of traffic control equipment at nine existing signalized intersections.

MEC provided a full scope of construction management services for the Port Authority of Allegheny County including contract administration, preparation and negotiation of change orders, scheduling, construction inspection and field documentation.
